The Adam range is somewhat of a porcelain design classic in Scandinavia and has been since its launch in 1959. The range was designed by Stig Lindberg for Gustavsbergs Porslinsfabrik and is made of qualitative bone china. The bone china is decorated with a beautiful cobalt blue, polka dot pattern. Lindberg purposely chose a color that would bleed faintly during the manufacturing process to create a slightly imperfect finish and as a result would make each and every single piece unique with its slight variations in color distribution and shape. A beautiful, timeless classic.
